Film Collabs
The Weather Buster
Dialogue Editor, ADR Editor, and Backgrounds Editor
Shortly after receiving the AAF from the editor, I realized that I had my work cut out for me. Many scenes of this film were shot in rainy Vancouver, BC, which spelled disaster for the lavs and boom mic. Through many hours in Rx I was able to recover every single audio clip, barring only one where the mic was unplugged.
ADR Editor: Receiving over 50 lines of ADR 2 days before the mix, it was a mad dash to get everything in sync. Luckily the production edit was able to cover most of the dialogue, and what wasn't, I was able to sync ADR to fit in.
Backgrounds: I created a 5.1 background for each shot, allowing the dialogue and foley to feel more natural, and for the audience to feel immersed.

Sweet Mess
Dialogue Re-Recording Mixer and ADR Recordist
Throughout this film, I got a lot of hands-on experience with dialogue, and all of it with a very short deadline. With about a week to complete the ADR recording and one 12-hour session in a sound stage, this film had a very very quick turnaround.
ADR: A little over 40 lines of dialogue and three different actors, this meant I had to be quick and efficient. Using Edi Cue and Edi Prompt I was able to waste little to no time and gather clean recordings.
Mixing: As the Dx mixer I was in charge of the dialogue, music, and walla. Alongside that, I was in charge of making sure that the mix got completed, and when the director wasn't there, I was responsible for making decisions.
